TONIGHT: Louisiana Public Broadcasting Presents—Louisiana: 200 Years of Statehood

As part of the state's Bicentennial celebration, Louisiana Public Broadcasting (LPB) will present a free screening for Louisiana: 200 Years of Statehood tonight, May 17, at 7 p.m. at the Central School Arts and Humanities Center Theatre, 809 Kirby St. in Lake Charles. The documentary, narrated by Harry Connick, Jr., will follow a special presentation by Fred Stark, Bicentennial mural artist, who has painted downtown Lake Charles' newest public art mural on the side of Sweets & Treats.
