Featuring 1,087 acres of lakes, trees, vistas, rivers and streams, Sam Houston Jones State Parks is an excellent spot for bird watching with nearly 200 species brought in by the migratory patterns in the spring and fall. Accepts Golden Age & Golden Access Cards. Camping sites range from $16 - $18 per night and cabins are $70. Admission varies depending on type of accommodations. Visitors pay $1 per person. 62 RV spaces, 2 pavilions (1 holds 60 and 1 holds 100)
