Sports
The Southwest Louisiana Convention & Visitors Bureau makes planning your sporting event or tournament a breeze. When you choose Southwest Louisiana to host your next event, the CVB will work with you to meet your group's needs. Our knowledgeable sports staff is ready to help with a variety of services and area resources to ensure the success of your event.
Lake Charles/Southwest Louisiana has played host to close to 100 different sporting events in 2009 at its 90 baseball fields, 50 basketball courts, 25 football fields, eight 18-hole golf courses, 45 soccer fields and close to 50 softball fields. With top-notch swim and wrestling facilities, tennis and volleyball courts, track & field stadiums, you will certainly score when you plan your next tournament or camp here.

Lodging Services
Group Room Blocks: The CVB makes lodging arrangements for your group easy. We’ll block rooms for your organization at area hotels, compile rates, and arrange hotel site tours free of charge. The CVB will even help with promotional mailouts and set up a host hotel, upon request. Your event is important to the community, and we will work closely with the hotels to secure competitive rates.
