The Lake Charles/Southwest Louisiana Convention & Visitors Bureau is partnering with the City of Sulphur and the American Red Cross for the annual Tour du Rouge Cycling Fundraiser. This event raises awareness and money for American Red Cross services along the Gulf Coast and provides support for communities in need.

More than 75 cyclists will leave Houston and ride to New Orleans in 537-mile Tour du Rouge, May 1-6, with a pit stop in Sulphur on Monday, May 2, 2016 at the Holiday Inn Lake Charles - W. Sulphur on Arena Road. 

Tour du Rouge will need volunteers on Monday, May 2 and Tuesday, May 3, 2016. Volunteer duties include:

  • Hospitality tent workers
  • Dinner preparation
  • Luggage movers
  • Cheering on the riders
  • Clean up

Volunteer times are available in shifts, but feel free to come out whenever you can!
