Wendy Colonna 3When asked about the experience, Wendy said, "I was so honored to be invited to write this song. I see a lot of beautiful places and people when I travel, but when I'm asked along the road about where I come from, I share about the breathtaking natural beauty, the culture, music, food and hospitality of home. Writing the tune was the perfect opportunity to synthesize all the things I love about the area inside a groove and melody that really brings the experience to life. . . . We engineered the tune at the first studio at which I'd ever recorded and worked with some musician pals I've known for 20 years and some new friends. It was a delight!"
