Lake Charles Partnership Grant Program

Description: This is another opportunity for artists and arts organizations within the city limits of Lake Charles.
Amount: Applicants may apply for up to $3,000 for project assistance for events occurring between April 2021 and March 2022. To qualify, events must be held within Lake Charles city limits. Eligible applicants may also apply for up to $2,000 for organizational support which provides funding for operating expenses of arts organizations, such as salaries and supplies. To qualify, organizations must be domiciled within Lake Charles city limits. Applicants compete only with other organizations and projects within the city limits of Lake Charles, so decisions about cultural priorities are made locally.​

Calcasieu Parish Police Jury Arts Funding Grant

Description: This program funds fairs, festivals or projects in Calcasieu Parish.
Amount: Minimum request of $500 and a maximum request of $5,000 for a specific arts project.

Arts/Tourism Partnership Grants (Tourism Marketing Initiative Grant Program)

The Louisiana Project Grants

Description: The Louisiana Division of the Arts grants over $120,000 on a per-parish, per-capita basis for artists, arts organizations and projects in the region.
Amount: Up to $5,000 for project assistance, and up to 25% of the previous year's operating revenue up to $5,000.

Louisiana Office of Tourism's Competitive Grant Program - Marketing Grants

Deadline to apply: June 2022 (Deadline in 2021 was Jun 1)
Funded and administered by the Louisiana Office of Tourism
Description: To encourage and support marketing initiatives that will attract and retain visitors.
Amount: Up to a 50% cash match for qualifying advertising expenses in promoting a tourism event. Maximum grant award - $20,000. The maximum amount funded per Applicant will be determined based on LOT’s FY 2022 budget allocation and the amount of the Applicant’s CMP Proposed Media Plan.
Activity Period: July 2022 - June 2023
Final Report Due: Due 45 days after the event.
