Lake Charles Partnership Grant Program

Deadline to apply: February 12, 2021 at 5 PM

Administered by the Arts Council of SWLA
Description: This is another opportunity for artists and arts organizations within the city limits of Lake Charles.
Amount: Applicants may apply for up to $3,000 for project assistance for events occurring between April 2021 and March 2022. To qualify, events must be held within Lake Charles city limits. Eligible applicants may also apply for up to $2,000 for organizational support which provides funding for operating expenses of arts organizations, such as salaries and supplies. To qualify, organizations must be domiciled within Lake Charles city limits. Applicants compete only with other organizations and projects within the city limits of Lake Charles, so decisions about cultural priorities are made locally.​

Calcasieu Parish Police Jury Arts Funding Grant

Amount: Up to $2,000

Decentralized Arts Funding Grants

Description: The Louisiana Division of the Arts grants over $120,000 on a per-parish, per-capita basis for artists, arts organizations and projects in the region.
Amount: Up to $5,000 for project assistance, and up to 25% of the previous year's operating revenue up to $5,000.

Louisiana Office of Tourism's Competitive Grant Program - Marketing Grants

Deadline to apply: April 2021
Funded and administered by the Louisiana Office of Tourism
Description: To encourage and support marketing initiatives that will attract and retain visitors.
Amount: Up to a 50% cash match for qualifying marketing expenses in promoting a tourism event. Maximum grant award - $10,000.
Activity Period: July 2021 - June 2022
Final Report Due: Due 45 days after the event.
