BayouCon 2014 Anime, Sci-Fi, & 
Comic Convention is Back!

LAKE CHARLES, La. (June 5, 2014)-The 6th annual BayouCon, Southwest Louisiana's original fan produced pop culture convention, will be held June 20-22 at the Lake Charles Civic Center Coliseum. This year's event features Cliff Simon, Ba'al from Stargate SG-1; Michael Koske, Callaway on The Walking Dead and Jeremy Inman, Android 16 from DragonballZ. Also, in attendance are Noelle Hannibal from Star Trek First Contact and Larry Nemecek who appears as Dr. McCoy on the fan series Star Trek Continues.

BayouCon will also have several featured cosplay artists donning their different costumes. Additionally, there will be a large display of artists and authors including Johnny Segura III who will showcase their independent works along with custom commissions.

Featured highlights at the convention include a replica TARDIS from Doctor Who plus Tim and Tom the Daleks will be in attendance. Orion's Envy, cosplay group from the Star Trek universe, will return as a part of the Saturday evening lineup which will also include a costume contest and performance by the mad scientist band "The Consortium of Genius." The conference will feature panel discussions, opening ceremonies and DJ Emmett Plant will entertain the crowd.

Membership tickets for the weekend are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Advance tickets may be purchased through Children 10 and under are admitted free. VIP membership tickets can also be purchased online which offers the attendee a chance to visit with the celebrity guests and include extra goodies. All tickets include a yearly membership into BayouCon Productions, Inc.
