How to Over-Wow Your Customers: Sept. 18

LAKE CHARLES, La. (August 29, 2013)-The Lake Charles/Southwest Louisiana Convention & Visitors Bureau presents "How to Over-Wow Visitors Roadshow" on Wednesday, Sept. 18. Front line employees who interact with clients are encouraged to register for this free customer service seminar by Friday, Sept. 6.

"With the influx of business professionals and visitors to Southwest Louisiana in the next few years due to the area's unprecedented economic growth, the bureau is happy to provide the hospitality and service industries a free program to help front line staff get their "Game On," said Megan Hartman, senior marketing manager for the Lake Charles/Southwest Louisiana Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Attractions, hotels, restaurants and people in the hospitality community are invited to participate to better serve customers.

Roadshow Stop 1 will occur at the Lake Charles Civic Center on September 18 from 9-11:30 a.m. in the Contraband Room, 900 Lakeshore Drive. Roadshow Stop 2 takes place at the Holiday Inn in Sulphur from 2-4:30 p.m., located at 330 Arena Road. Attendees can register for either session.

Stuart Ellis-Myers, a.k.a. "Twitchy," will share practical, fun techniques that turn clients into raving fans. Be prepared to leave this fast-paced and action provoking session knowing how to positively refresh, impact and over-wow every visitor.

Twitchy is the world's only professional speaker living with Tourette Syndrome. His extensive worldwide client list includes Choice Hotels, AAA, Best Western, Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Coca Cola and Sears.
