The event includes live entertainment from D’Elvis Ceaux & Friends, Rooster & Angie’s Karaoke and Debbie Knight as Cher. Additional food items such as hot dogs, nachos and sweets will be made available for purchase.
The goal of the annual benefit is to raise funds to purchase Christmas presents for the children of military families. Donations to the organization are welcomed and can be made via GoFundMe.
“I have always had a passion for helping our Louisiana soldiers and their children. I decided to get a group of volunteers together who shared my passion for this cause. I’d like to thank God for without him, this would never have come to pass. I’d like to thank our military for their sacrifice so that we can live in a free and great country,” said Dennis Soileau, president of Little Troopers Inc.
Registration beings at 7 a.m. for the cook-off and 8 a.m. for the poker run and car show. For additional information about the event, contact Dennis Soileau at (337) 309-1096.
