Louisiana’s love affair with cocktails dates back centuries.  Enjoying a summer cocktail or frozen beverage is almost an essential part of escaping the heat and humidity.  It’s doesn’t have to be alcoholic either – what about our famous snow balls?!?

In this summer’s blog series, we’ll explore cocktails and frozen drinks across Southwest Louisiana and get recipes from area bars and restaurants so you can enjoy locally or at home.

At 121 Artisan Bistro, they offer a fun Martini Madness on Wednesdays from 4 p.m. to close with $4 house martinis that visitors and locals alike will want to check out.  121 also has Happy Hour Monday – Friday from 4 – 6 p.m.  They recommend the Bigg’s Margarita to spice up your summer!
