Chuck Eats Restaurant Week

Visit Lake Charles (VLC) is excited to announce the return of Chuck Eats Restaurant Week, a 10-day foodie event from January 17–26, 2025. This event is a great opportunity to showcase your unique dishes and culinary skills and captivate diners from Southwest Louisiana and beyond.

WHY PARTICIPATE?
By participating in Chuck Eats Restaurant Week, your restaurant will be featured in a focused digital and social media campaign that reaches visitors from nearby areas, including major cities like Houston, Shreveport, Lafayette, Alexandria, and Beaumont-Port Arthur. Joining Chuck Eats will help bring a wide range of customers to your restaurant. 

COST 
There is a $100 participation fee to help cover the costs of promoting this exciting culinary event. 

CAMPAIGN FLIGHT 
November 1 – 30, 2024 (preview campaign) 
December 1, 2024 – January 26, 2025 (core campaign) 

DEADLINES 
10/11/2024 - Early Bird Deadline for Extra Media Exposure 

  • Deals submitted by this date will be featured in an exclusive early marketing campaign launching in November 
  • Restaurants submitted by this date will also receive priority for media interviews/mentions 
  • Chuck Eats Week menus printed & delivered to your restaurant 

11/29/2024 – Deadline to Submit Deals 

  • Deals submitted by this date will be part of the main marketing campaign, running from December 1 to January 26, 2025.

  • Prix fixe (fixed-price) menus get the most views on ChuckEats.org 
  • Lunch price range: $10-$20

PAST RESULTS

  • Chuck Eats 2024 saw a 41% increase in out-of-town diners
  • Most visitors coming from Houston, Beaumont-Port Arthur, and Lafayette
  • Local spending also increased by 3%, thanks to the strong appeal of prix fixe menus, which offer great value and allow diners to explore a variety of dishes.
