Louisiana Pirate Festival

The Louisiana Pirate Festival is a 10-day festival held on the grounds of the Lake Charles Civic Center and Seawall. The 61-year old festival is the oldest festival in the City of Lake Charles, one of the oldest festivals in Louisiana. Festivities begin with the Buccaneer Landing when they take over the City of Lake Charles. Come and enjoy great live entertainment, showcasing Louisiana musicians, sample great Louisiana cuisine in the Galley Alley Food Area, Family Night (alcohol-free); 1st ever Pirate Ball; Pirate Parade Extravaganza; Fireworks Display; a Children's Area complete with stations for the wee-mateys to paint their own eye patches and pirate flags, children's costume contest, Bed Races, Pirogue Building Contest, Arm-Wrestling Contest, Boat Parade, and daily Pirate Parades through the festival ground and much more. The Louisiana Pirate Festival is committed to offering a unique experience for all ages and cultural backgrounds while giving visitors a chance to experience Southwest Louisiana's joie de vivre or "Joy of Life".


Todd Armstrong Shows provides carnival rides, games, and food to fairs, festivals, and celebrations across the southern states and areas of the midwest. Our vast variety of thrill rides such as the Super Shot and Himalaya, along with family favorites such as the Gondola Wheel and Tilt-A-Whirl, plus a complete kiddy land with rides like the Carousel and Circus Train are sure to provide enjoyment for patrons of all ages!
