Sesquicentennial: Pop Up Museum

Join us for a pop up exhibit, made up entirely of items brought by YOU!  Bring your memorabilia or artifacts representing the Libraries & Education in Lake Charles.  Your items will be on display during this event and you will be encouraged to talk about your items with others who attend.  Ideas to get you started on this theme:  library or school buildings, long overdue books, summer reading program certificates, library or report cards, favorite teachers, uniforms, awards or trophies, etc.

A Pop Up Museum is a temporary exhibit created by the people who show up to participate. Think of it as a community "show & tell." Items can be as simple as a drawing or as priceless as a family heirloom. At the end of the program, the items go back home with their owners.
