Captain Lee Daughdrill was born and raised in Westlake, LA. Growing up in a hunting and fishing family, Lee has always been on the water, in 2008 he received his USCG Charter Boat Captains License after he graduated from McNeese State University.
Lee not only catches fish for a living, he has also been an avid angler in the HT Professional Redfish Series since 2011, he travels to each tour stop in search of the biggest and heaviest Redfish allowed under the Legal State Size Limits. In 2011 at the first HT Event of the year, in Chalmette, LA hosted by the Louisiana Crawfish Festival and St. Bernard Parish- Lee and his partner took home the second place prize of $10,000.00 --in 2012 at the second HT Event of the year, in Lake Charles, LA hosted by L’Auberge Du Lac Casino Resort they took home the Championship Prize of $25,000.00. Among those accomplishments he has 12 other top ten finishes, and has joined the E-40 division for the 2015 tournament season, where 40 anglers will compete individually to catch the heaviest 5 fish stringer and he has also joined the Rudy's Redfish Cup this year.
When Lee has down time he spends it around his wife, daughter, family, and friends. After "fishing season" winds-down Lee gears up for Duck & Goose Season - then he's right back to "fishing season".
