LAKE CHARLES, La. (February 29, 2012)--Celebrate the arts with a stroll through downtown Lake Charles. The DownTown Lake Charles Crawfish Fest is excited and honored to participate in this year's Arts and Humanities Council of Southwest Louisiana's Spring Art Walk with "Arts at the Fest." Participatns of the "Arts at the Fest" Art Walk will display Art-Everything Crawfish!
The festival will occur April 12-15 at the Lake Charles Civic Center and will include carnival rides, 10,000 pounds of boiled crawfish, live music, food and fun. In the midst of it all, attendees will be able to take a stroll through lovely downtown Lake Charles on April 13 between 5 and 9 p.m. and view works by local and regional artists. Find out the artists' inspiration and enjoy the music, atmosphere, and fun of the Original DownTown Lake Charles Crawfish Festival at the Lake Charles Civic Center.
The DownTown Lake Charles Crawfish Fest committee is looking for artists and/or art collectors who would like to display their works of crawfish art in the Art-Everything Crawfish! display during the crawfish festival activities.
