LAKE CHARLES, La. (October 27, 2014)-The Lake Charles/Southwest Louisiana Convention & Visitors Bureau will be providing complimentary customer service training opportunity by Stuart Ellis-Myers, a.k.a. "Twitchy," at the West-Cal Arena & Events Center on Tuesday, Nov. 18.

"With the influx of business professionals and visitors to Southwest Louisiana and the growing tourism industry, the bureau is happy to provide the hospitality and service industries a free program to energize front line staff and sales associates," said Megan Hartman, senior marketing manager for the Lake Charles/Southwest Louisiana Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Attractions, hotels, restaurants, event center personnel and people in the hospitality community are invited to participate to better serve customers.

The "How to Over-Wow" sessions will occur at 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 18 featuring a brand new, fast paced customer serving training encouraging attendees to over-wow every client with proven techniques to triple Tripadvisor ratings. Participants can attend either the morning or afternoon session but are asked to register in advance.

Twitchy is the world's only professional speaker living with Tourette Syndrome. His extensive worldwide client list includes Choice Hotels, AAA, Best Western, Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Coca Cola and Sears.
