Just west of Rockefeller Wildlife Refuge Headquarters (5476 Grand Chenier Hwy., Grand Chenier, LA) Price Lake Nature Drive is a 3-mile wildlife drive with plenty of areas for recreational fishing, crabbing and cast netting for shrimp.
This area is one of the most biologically diverse wildlife areas in the nation and has the distinction of having the highest alligator nesting densities of anywhere in the country. Accordingly, the Rockefeller Refuge is a major wetland research facility.
