Hey Everyone, welcome to Jeanne’s Bourbon Street BBQ. Out of all the places we have traveled to with the Dr. Q and the Big Pig Rig, if you would have told me that I would have settled down in SWLA in the small town of Westlake, I would have most likely ask you if you had been drinking. We ended up here because we were running from the cold and hung a map in hubby’s office and the dart landed about an inch north of Lake Charles. This was only supposed to be a seasonal thing and once warm weather broke up north, we were headed back on the road chasing the Harley and Jack Daniels parties. However, the one thing that we didn’t plan for was getting bit right square in the behind with this thing ya’ll call “Southern Hospitality”. For all of you who don’t know what southern hospitality is all about, it’s a smile, handshake followed by soft spoken words of…..”Thank You Ms. Jeanne or Mr. Ken for being here, more often than not it was followed by “Please Stay Here and We Promise We’ll Support You”

Now listen ya’ll,,,,, where in the hell can you go visit throughout the United States where they look at you in the eye and speak those words. Well the rest of this love story is history and now a lot of our customers simply want to know where a bunch of Northern Damn Yankees learned how to cook like this. We laugh and tell them we weren’t born in the South, but we got here as soon as we could.

You can enjoy a piece of history with some of our rarest collectables dating back to 1866. Your unique dining experience will be capped of with plain and simple some of the best BBQ anywhere period! However, you got to save some room for our almost famous Bread Pudding that is topped off with a Bourbon Vanilla Sauce, Whipped Cream and Pecans.
