For Residents:

#SpringCleanLC – You are invited to participate!
Much wreckage left behind by Hurricanes Laura and Delta has been picked up from ditches and roadways, but unsightly trash still litters the city. Take pride in Lake Charles by hosting a volunteer litter pickup event during in March.

The City of Lake Charles is coordinating a series of litter pickups and is inviting all civic and church groups, neighborhood associations, school organizations, businesses, and families to commit to picking up litter on any day in March 2021.

Groups are encouraged to share the story of their clean-up efforts on social media using the hashtag #SpringCleanLC. Trash bags, gloves, and safety vests will be provided while supplies last. For more information or to register your group, please call 337 491-9147 or email and specify your desired pickup date and location.
