Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards issued a stay-at-home order to combat coronavirus spread. The order requires Louisiana residents to shelter-at-home unless going out for essential tasks effective until April 30. Niblett's Bluff

Niblett's Bluff Park is a Calcasieu Parish park overlooking the scenic Sabine River. The park seeks to preserve the natural beauty and history of Southwest Louisiana in an environment that is fun for the whole family. The park is open 365 days a year. Caretakers reside on the premises.

The park has historical significance: Fort Nibletts, a Civil War fort, once stood where the current park exists.

The park has several mini-cabins, with A/C and heat, for rent, as well as, RV sites, outdoor pavilions, playground and a boat launch. For rental rates, call 337-589-7117.

Niblett's Bluff Park is located to the west of Vinton, Louisiana, at 3409 Nibletts Bluff Road.

The park can be reached from I-10 exit #4. Go north on LA 109. Go 2.5 miles. Turn left on Niblett's Bluff Road. Follow the road for 2.5 miles to the gates of the park.
