About Visit Lake Charles

Located off of I-10 exit 30 A is the Lake Charles/Southwest Louisiana Convention and Visitors Bureau. We serve locals and visitors as a resource center for the region. We're open to the public Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. Guests can stop in for clean restrooms, free coffee, directions, brochures, and activity information. We also have picnic tables behind the building and a walkable trail along Lake Charles that leads to North Beach.

Our dedicated staff are on hand to answer questions and provide directions and recommendations. Among the local opportunities you can learn about here are the Creole Nature Trail All-American Road, the Southwest Louisiana Boudin Trail, culinary experiences, festivals and events, and the many ways to pack in joy throughout Southwest Louisiana.
