From the King of Rock, Elvis Presley, to homegrown American Idol talent, Joshua Ledet, to modern pop stars, Lake Charles has hosted some pretty amazing talents on its stages. Singing also goes hand-in-hand with dancing and other performing arts, which Southwest Louisiana has no shortage of! Whether it’s seasoned dancers at one of the many dance programs like the Lake Charles Civic Ballet or actors from one of the theatre companies like the Children’s Theatre, where kids get the opportunity to learn the craft or the well-established Lake Charles Little Theatre, you will be hard-pressed to find a stage that won’t have the audience clapping for an encore.
