Chews’ Multicultural Hair Affair Beauty Expo
LAKE CHARLES, La. (July 16, 2019) —For the 19th year, Chew’s Multicultural Hair Affair Beauty Expo returns to the Lake Charles Event Center, 900 Lakeshore Dr., Saturday – Monday, July 20-22, to present some of the leading professionals in the hair and beauty industry.
The event includes exhibition booths, presentations, demonstrations, and classes led by top celebrity educators. Stylists and barbers from all over the country will showcase the hottest and most sought-after styles.
The expo will kick off with a welcome party on Saturday, July 20, at 8 p.m. at the Foundation House, located at 720 Enterprise Blvd. On Sunday, July 21, a praise and worship service will take place beginning at 8 a.m. inside the Lake Charles Event Center Exhibition Hall. A VIP Dinner will be held in the Lake Charles Event Center Jean Lafitte room at 6 p.m. with awards presented by Mayor Nic Hunter. At 8 p.m., the Hair Battle on the lake will be held in the Lake Charles Event Center Buccaneer Room, followed by an afterparty at the Foundation House. On Monday, July 22, the Barber Battle will be held at 3 p.m. in the Lake Charles Event Center Exhibition Hall.
