LAKE CHARLES, La. (Jan. 13, 2025) — Chuck Eats Restaurant Week is back for its third year, running Jan. 17-26, and promises to be bigger and better than ever. This 10-day celebration of Southwest Louisiana’s vibrant culinary scene invites diners to explore the unique flavors that define the region while supporting local restaurants.
More than 40 restaurants are participating this year, offering prix fixe menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. These menus provide a curated, multi-course dining experience at a set price, giving diners a chance to indulge in expertly crafted dishes while discovering new and returning favorites.
“The impact of Chuck Eats on our community is undeniable,” said Visit Lake Charles President and CEO Kyle Edmiston. “Not only does it celebrate the incredible culinary talent we have in Southwest Louisiana, but it also drives significant economic growth for our local restaurants.”
In 2024, Chuck Eats delivered remarkable results, with ChuckEats.org receiving 92,881 pageviews—a 28% increase from the previous year—and generating 19,331 clicks to individual restaurant offers. Visitors played a pivotal role in the campaign’s success, with a 41% increase in out-of-town participants compared to 2023. Dining establishments saw 18% of their spending come from visitors, who contributed an average of $76 per person, further highlighting the campaign’s importance to the local economy.
