Visit Lake Charles (VLC) expanded its sales team to include Johanna Moseley as the destination services specialist. Moseley is a Lake Charles native and recent graduate of McNeese State University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in accounting.
“Lake Charles is my home, and I’m passionate about it,” said Moseley. “Joining Visit Lake Charles is another way for me to support and advocate for my community. I look forward to servicing the tourism industry by sharing the best parts of Southwest Louisiana’s hospitality with the rest of the world.”
With more than 14 years of equestrian experience, Moseley is familiar with organized sporting events as a competitor, stable manager, and assistant coach. In addition to that, she has cultivated a close relationship with various equestrian organizations including the United States Hunter Jumper Association, Horsemanship Quiz Challenge Committee, and the Hunt Seat Team at McNeese State University.
“Johanna’s commitment to what she loves is why her role will have a significant impact on the entire sales team and our region,” said Eric Zartler, senior vice president of sales at Visit Lake Charles. “Her strategic thinking skills will be a great asset to our sporting events, business conventions, and community projects.
