Building on the success of its inaugural season, Visit Lake Charles is proud to announce the return of its Spanish-language podcast series, Visita Lake Charles: Las Voces de Luisiana, hosted by Candy Rodriguez, director of communications at Visit Lake Charles.

“I’m very grateful we can continue these conversations in Spanish,” Rodriguez said. “I’m blessed to be bilingual and to have the opportunity to educate travelers about our destination, sharing all the experiences Southwest Louisiana has to offer so they can enjoy it for themselves.”

This season, Visita Lake Charles: Las Voces de Luisiana presents the series theme Descubriendo Lake Charles (Discovering Lake Charles), a four-episode journey featuring Hispanic and Latino voices sharing the stories, attractions, festivals, and Cajun and Creole flavors that make Southwest Louisiana a must-visit destination.

Each episode will feature a different guest:

  • Lilieth Flores, co-owner of La Nica Mini Market
  • Diana Vallette, editor at Lagniappe Magazine
  • Gus Garden, owner of Area 337
  • Jessica Colon, casino host at Horseshoe Lake Charles Hotel & Casino

“This podcast has opened the door for us to connect with Spanish-speaking audiences in a meaningful way,” said Timothy Bush, chief marketing officer at Visit Lake Charles. “Launching season two reinforces our commitment to inclusivity by inviting all visitors to experience our destination.”
