Visit Lake Charles is proud to announce it has received its Destination Marketing Accreditation Program (DMAP) reaccreditation from Destinations International (DI), the global association for destination organizations. 

The reaccreditation, awarded this summer at DI’s Annual Convention in Chicago, followed a rigorous standards-based review of Visit Lake Charles’ governance, strategic planning, resource management, partner and community engagement and performance measurement. The designation confirms the organization’s commitment to industry excellence and adherence to the highest standards in destination marketing and management. 

“The reaccreditation represents a commitment to accountability and progress, and we’re honored to have earned this recognition,” said Kyle Edmiston, president and CEO of Visit Lake Charles. “It challenged us to evaluate our performance and ensure we’re organized and ready to support Southwest Louisiana’s economic growth, cultural vitality and community resilience.”
