United Way of Southwest Louisiana’s highly anticipated Battle for the Paddle Cook-Off returns on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at the Lake Charles Event Center Amphitheater. This St. Patrick’s Day-themed event features a cookoff between more than 25 teams vying for the coveted paddle and the best jambalaya and pastalaya in Southwest Louisiana. Bring the family and pass the time in the children’s zone while you groove to live music, press your luck in the costume contest, and drink to your heart's content of green beer!

St. Patty’s Day Pub Crawl by The Lake Charles Happy Hour Rotary Club

Tickets are now on sale at an affordable $15 per person. Proceeds benefit the Girlie Girls Mentoring Program INC and other charitable projects in the Lake Charles area. Registration begins at 1 PM at the Erdace Apartments located at 600 Ryan Street in downtown Lake Charles then proceeds to five downtown crawl partners concluding with free admission to the party at Panorama Music House! Annual St. Patrick's Day Pub Crawl by the Southwest Louisiana Firefighter's Association

Preorder your wristbands here and they'll be available beginning at 3:15 PM at Rickenjacks. The crawling begins at 4 PM! The crawl includes 10 stops, with one shot at each! The party concludes with free admission to Panorama Music House. Proceeds benefit the Southwest Louisiana Firefighter's Association fundraisers for fallen firefighters.
