Nyyah's Authentic Cookshop

Nyyah's Authentic Cookshop is a hidden gem that brings a taste of Jamaica to Southwest Louisiana. This family-owned restaurant opened its doors in April 2021, quickly becoming a local favorite, and offers a unique dining experience with a drive-up window. Nyyah's menu is a celebration of fresh and authentic Jamaican flavors, featuring mouthwatering dishes like Montego Bay Oxtail, Yah Mon Curry Goat, Jerk Wings, Shrimp, and Chicken salad, and a variety of vegetarian options.

Owned by the dynamic husband and wife duo, Marilyn and Alton Hess, this eatery opened its doors in 2022 and specializes in both savory and sweet items like shrimp & grits, stuffed waffles and French toast, loaded seafood omelets, oxtail, and burgers. What sets them apart are the homemade jellies and jams, available in a variety of flavors that perfectly complement their dishes.



Ju'Elles Cafe

Located in Westlake, Ju'Elles Cafe is owned by husband and wife Julius and Tichelle Mitchell who serve up a flavorful twist on the patty melt, along with other mouthwatering dishes like hand-battered chicken quesadillas and crispy chicken wings. The homemade gravy adds a comforting touch to every meal. With a dedication to bringing good food to the community, Ju'Elles Cafe is a must-visit for anyone craving home-cooked meals with a soulful twist.
