The purpose of the Creole Nature Trail Scenic Byway District shall be to stimulate economic development and tourism in the parishes traversed by the Creole Nature Trail All-American Road.
The Creole Nature Trail All-American Road is governed by a 9-member board of directors. For 2024, Wendy Walker Harrington is the Chair. Paul Guillory is the Vice-Chair. Carolyn Miller is the Secretary/Treasurer.

The Creole Nature Trail District Board of Commissions unanimously approved the 2023 Board of Commissioners Meeting dates at their regularly scheduled meeting on December 8, 2022. The meetings will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Southwest Louisiana Convention & Visitors Bureau at 1205 N. Lakeshore Dr., Lake Charles, LA. The meetings are open to the public. The agenda for the board meeting will be uploaded at least one (1) full business days before each meeting, and the minutes will be available once they are approved by the board at the next scheduled board meeting. If you would like to make a public comment or require electronic meeting accommodations as per Act 393 of 2023, you must make arrangements by 4 p.m. on the Tuesday before the board meeting by calling Anne Klenke at 337-502-4347.
