Guest Kevin McCarthy, the Executive Chef at L’Auberge Casino Resort, joins hosts Brady and Jillian on Louisiana’s Playground to discuss L’Auberge’s numerous culinary offerings. The resort boasts eight restaurants ranging from casual fair to fine dining. The trio also touches on Southwest Louisiana’s unique food culture and the different experiences one can have on the casino property. 



Kevin McCarthy is the Executive Chef at L’Auberge Casino Resort in Lake Charles.  

His passion for cooking was forged in his family’s kitchen preparing meals with his parents in New York. 

His culinary journey has since taken him all over the country with stops in Vegas, New York City, Pittsburgh, St. Louis and Baltimore. He even worked in Aruba. 

Outside of the kitchen, he enjoys cycling and triathlons and is a two-time Ironman finisher!
