Guest Amanda Cusey, the 2022 Queen of Louisiana Seafood and Executive Chef at The Terrace Restaurant, joins Brady and Anna on Louisiana’s Playground to discuss the Louisiana Seafood Cook-off coming to Lake Charles, LA, for the first time. ABOUT THE GUEST 

Amanda is an accomplished chef, receiving her Cordon Bleu training at the Tante' Marie Culinary Academy in Surrey, England. Her international training continued under Michelin Star Chef Oliver Dunne in Dublin. From there, Amanda’s career continued to bloom, being crowned the 2022 Queen of Louisiana Seafood as the first honoree from Lake Charles and only the second-ever queen.

Chef Amanda Cusey uses her international training to masterfully blend her Italian flair with local flavors, creating a one-of-a-kind dining experience. The patio space is open to furry friends, with custom menu items like the buddy brew and pup burger.
