Adult Easter Egg Hunt

Grab your neon gear and get ready for an evening of retro fun and raising awareness at The Stables at Le Bocage! Over 5,000 eggs will be scattered across the property filled with prizes and giveaways. Throughout the evening attendees have an opportunity to learn about the resources available to families of children on the spectrum and with special needs who've been displaced.

 

Dolly Run 5K & 1K

Celebrate community fitness and literacy at the inaugural Dolly Run hosted by the United Way of Southwest Louisiana! Don your best Dolly Parton get-up and get ready to run or walk through downtown Lake Charles, then celebrate your feat at the mini country fair. Not into races? You can still strut your stuff as you compete in the Dolly Stroll costume contest. Leading up to the event, books can be donated to local classrooms inspired by Dolly's Imagination Library.

American Junior Golf Association Junior Championship

The next generation of golf superstars will compete at the AJGA Lake Charles Junior Championship. The tournament kicks off at the Mallard Golf Club on Thursday, April 17, with the Qualifier Shotgun followed by three days of intense rounds of tee times and an awards ceremony on Sunday. Throughout the program talented youth have the opportunity to earn college golf scholarships. Notable program alumni include Tiger Woods, Nelly Korda, Jordan Spieth and more.
