On Sunday, March 22, Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards issued a stay-at-home order to combat coronavirus spread. The order requires Louisiana residents to shelter-at-home unless going out for essential tasks effective until April 12. Many attractions, concerts, events, and festivals have either been postponed or canceled activities until that time. View Updates

The City of Lake Charles will observe Halloween 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31. Parents are encouraged to have their children home by 8:30 p.m. unless they are attending a supervised function sponsored by other parents or civic organizations.

The City of Sulphur will observe Halloween 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31.
