Juneteenth Freedom Festival

Commemorate freedom during the Juneteenth Freedom Festival encompassing four days of activities. Kick back and relax at the 6th annual Movies Under the Stars, then bring your appetite for delicious soul food and a heated BBQ cookoff. Throughout the weekend and on the 19th, delight in soulful performances, Black-owned vendor booths, a worship service, and fireworks over the lake.

Laugh out Loud at a Comedy Show

The Lake Charles comedy scene continues to grow with recurring improv nights at restaurants and bars and comic tours with stops at our casinos. From local comedians to national touring acts you're sure to discover hilarious acts guaranteeing a night of entertainment. This month discover local talent at OB's Comedy Open Mic Night and laugh along with "America's Favorite Husband," Steve Trevino at Golden Nugget Lake Charles.


Rock out at a Concert

From local musicians and up-and-coming artists to award-winning performers, Southwest Louisiana is a great place to attend a concert. many of our restaurants feature live entertainment throughout the week and our casino resorts offer an all-star entertainment lineup crossing musical genres.

This month catch the last two Fridays of Downtown at Sundown, the June installment of Crying Eagle's Summer Concert Series featuring the Chee-Weez, and the inaugural Nashville Nights at Southlake Theatre featuring Green River Revue.
