Downtown at Sundown continues this month providing a free downtown concert experience! Each concert features local and regional Swamp Pop, Cajun, Zydeco, and Classic Rock bands. Don't miss the After Glow Show, an energetic light show featuring a 3D Projection, lasers, and special effects at the final installment of the series.
Holly Beach Crab Festival | June 13-15
Head south for the annual Holly Beach Crab Festival, a relaxing weekend of activities and entertainment along the beach! Shop with a variety of vendors, dance the night away during performances by popular Cajun and Zydeco bands, then indulge in deliciously boiled Louisiana blue crabs at the crab cookoff.
Juneteenth Freedom Festival | June 16-19
Commemorate freedom, culture, community, and progress at the annual Juneteenth Freedom Festival! Delight in four days of activities kicking off at the MLK Center, with Fit Family Olympics, packed with wacky races and silly challenges promoting health and wellness for the entire family. Other activities include a Senior Bingo, Movies Under the Stars, a Juneteenth Parade, and a Sauce Piquant Cook-Off at the Lake Charles Event Center.
SWLA Pride Con | June 27-29
Celebrate Pride unity, visibility, and allyship at SWLA Pride Con, an unforgettable festival celebrating the LGBTQ+ community of Southwest Louisiana with three days of art, performances, speakers, shopping and more in an inclusive space. Dress to impress at the Coachella Costume Ball on Friday, then on Saturday shop from popular vendors while enjoying panel discussions, live entertainment and a mechanical bull! On Sunday bring the entire family out for more fun and games as well as an indoor skating rink!
