Giva Foy is the manager of the Cash & Carry Farmer’s Market. She took over that title in 2017 and has since become engrained in the community through the market, her church, and other local events. She's a staple at the market, where you can guarantee to find her welcoming guests and vendors.
ENVIE EATS
Helen St. Bakehouse started its operations in the Cash & Carry building kitchen. After outgrowing this space, the owners, Cary and Laurie Sole, opened their storefront location in November 2021. Here, they primarily focus on wholesale bread production for local restaurants, including Crying Eagle Brewing Co., 1910, Murals Kitchen, and even the tortillas at Que Pasa and Casa Mana, to name a few. The charming storefront offers a light lunch menu of chicken salad croissants, pimento cheese sandwiches, smoked salmon bruschetta, avocado toast, and more. Stop in during Mardi Gras time for their specialty king cakes and other sweet treats they carry year-round.
