Colten leads Visit Lake Charles’ brand marketing efforts with a focus on strengthening the destination’s voice, driving strategic advertising, and elevating Southwest Louisiana’s appeal across key visitor markets. As Senior Director of Brand Marketing, he oversees branding and integrated campaigns that ensure a consistent and compelling destination presence.
Since joining Visit Lake Charles in 2014 as an intern, Colten has progressed through multiple marketing roles, developing expertise in destination branding, storytelling, and campaign strategy. His work is grounded in data-informed insights that drive engagement and maximize performance.
A Lake Charles native and McNeese State University graduate, Colten brings both local passion and industry perspective to his work, with a commitment to telling authentic stories that reflect the culture and experiences of Louisiana’s Playground.
