Timothy leads Visit Lake Charles’ marketing efforts with a focus on brand strategy, data-driven storytelling, and initiatives that strengthen Southwest Louisiana’s visitor economy. As Chief Marketing Officer, he oversees destination marketing, brand management, communications, research, and creative services, guiding integrated campaigns that elevate awareness, increase visitation, and deliver measurable economic impact.
Before joining Visit Lake Charles, Timothy held senior leadership roles across the Southeast, including President and CEO of Louisiana’s Cajun Bayou Tourism and Chief Tourism Development Officer at OneSpartanburg, Inc. With more than two decades in the tourism industry, he has led award-winning brand launches, destination turnarounds, and funding increases initiatives that support expanded tourism sales & marketing efforts.
He is an active industry leader through service with Destinations International, the Southeast Tourism Society, and the Louisiana Travel Association.
